Required for all undergraduate or graduate programs in USA. Eligibility: Graduate in any discipline and 10 + 2. Total score: 120. The test contains four parts: (1) Reading - 30 points; (2) Listening - 30 points; (3) Speaking - 30 points; and (4) Writing - 30. Reading Section: Consists of 3 long passages and 39 questions are asked about the passages. The approximate time limit is 60 minutes. Listening Section: Consists of 6 long passages and 34 questions are asked about the passages. The approximate time limit is 60 minutes. Speaking Section: Consists of 6 tasks – two independent tasks and four integrated tasks and 6 questions are asked about the tasks. The approximate time limit is 20 minutes. Writing Section: Consists of 2 tasks – one independent task and one integrated tasks and 2 questions are asked on the tasks. The approximate time limit is 60 minutes. The exam runs for 3 hours and 20 minutes. Test Registration Fee: $175 (Subject to change without notice). Examination: Conducted up to 5 times in a month at 10 different locations across India.
